MEMBERSHIP

There are three categories of RAAFVVA membership:

  1. Ordinary Membership:
    Ordinary membership is available to any Australian or Allied Vietnam Veteran or adult dependent or descendant. Ordinary members enjoy all membership privileges. Annual membership subscription includes a fee payable to the Vietnam Veterans Association of Australia (VVAA).
  2. Associate Membership:
    Associate membership may be approved by the Committee for any person, other than a Vietnam Veteran, who seeks to participate in and thereby contribute to the overall objectives of RAAFVVA. Associate membership precludes voting on VVAA policy matters or being elected to the Executive of the RAAFVVA Committee. Accordingly, annual membership does not include any fees payable to the VVAA.
  3. Second Membership:
    Second membership is available to any ordinary member of another approved Ex-servicemen’s organisation – eg RAAF Association, RSL or a VVAA sub-branch – who seeks to participate in and thereby contribute to RAAFVVA activities.

To join the Association:

  1. Membership of all categories is open to eligible applicants Australia-wide. Overseas applicants can be considered for membership.
  2. Contact the Secretary (telephone: 03-93177394, Email: rickh12@bigpond.com) to discuss any membership category question you have and then forward the completed application form with subscription (made out to RAAFVVA) to the Treasurer at PO Box 73, Melton, Victoria 3337 – full details on each application form).
  3. Application Forms can be downloaded and printed through this site but you will require Adobe Reader to do so. The latest version of the FREE reader can be obtained by clicking the “Get Adobe Reader” Button below. Once you have Adobe Reader installed you can click on the appropriate Membership Category “Print Membership Application” to download and print the form.
